Zugriff auf die neusten OneDrive-Versionen

Hans Brender

Microsoft keeps up the pace. Twice a week, a new OneDrive version reached us in the Insider Ring last month. And also in the production ring there are 4 versions per month. I asked, and was told by the OneDrive product group that they want to respond more quickly to issues: As far as releases are concerned, you are right that we have become faster. Our goal is to get bug fixes, feature improvements and new functionality to customers as quickly as possible. Die OneDrive Version 23.048.0305.0002

Hans Brender

Again, I receive daily requests that the website that Microsoft provides to get the latest versions, is not up to date. All I can say to that is. That’s right. They’ve been trying to automate that for quite a while. So only my website remains, whereby I had enormous problems during my illness to comprehend all this. Because Microsoft has changed a lot at the turn of the year. In the past, an Insider version often became a production version, whereby only minor changes, i.e. minimal changes, naturally resulted in a new version. This seems to have changed now. Unfortunately, … The OneDrive Version 23.048.0305.0002 weiterlesen

At the turn of the year, Microsoft has changed a few small things internally, which also caused me to falter. But on 24.1.2023 Microsoft has not only published the OneDrive Insider version 23.011.0115.0004, but also a new production version 23.002.0102.0004. I think that is the last message for 2022. Between „Thanks Giving“ and the last OneDrive Insider Version 22.248.1127.0001 Microsoft makes some jumps in the numbering. And maybe they will announce until the end of year the changes, they have done with the new settings, have a modern design (new UX). But we have to wait. I have written about that in September. If you need a certain Version you find all versions here for test purposes. All valid Windows Versions you may see here too. In the meantime, Microsoft has decided to no longer publish descriptions for Insider versions. The reason. One wants to strive for the timely release of the version from the production ring and deferredchannel. This is a good and a bad sign. So the how to know when a new OneDrive version for the Insider ring has been released. That’s why I decided to rebuild my pages. Because the research showed that I can focus on the newest versions. OneDrive | new Version 21.099.0516.0003

Hans Brender

Something has happened again with the group policies. With the Insider version 21.099.0516.0003 on Friday, 05/29/21  a new group policy object was added. I also have to add something here: 21.073.0411.0002 On 5/18/21 this version was released to the production ring 21.078.0418.0001 This version was a prerequisite for the preview of the OneDrive synchronization reports. For this, there was also a new group policy called Synch Admin Reports (Computer Policy). I have already written a blog post about this. 21.083.0425.0001 However, the performance of the Sync Admin Reports messages was poor. That’s why Microsoft added version 21.083.0425.0001. OneDrive | neue Version 21.099.0516.0003

OneDrive: Unterschiede beim Synchronisieren weiterlesen
