TeamsCommunityDay 2023

Hans Brender

… TeamsCommunityDay 2023 weiterlesen

OneDrive Insider Version 23.011.0115.0004

Hans Brender

At the turn of the year, Microsoft has changed a few small things internally, which also caused me to falter. But on 24.1.2023 Microsoft has not only published the OneDrive Insider version 23.011.0115.0004, but also a new production version 23.002.0102.0004. What is still missing is the deferred version, but that will be delivered in a few days. As usual you can find the different versions here for Windows, the complete list of all OneDrive versions can be seen here. The OneDrive Insiders will receive each week a new version, therefore you should bookmark the pages above) For testing purposes (for example … OneDrive Insider Version 23.011.0115.0004 weiterlesen

New OneDrive Insider version 20.084.0426.0006 available

Hans Brender

Just in time for the end of the month May 2020, Microsoft has again provided a new version of the synchronization client OneDrive.exe (Next generation Sync Client) in the Insiders Ring. While the Insiders Ring has already reached version 20.084.0426.0006, the Prdouctions Ring will be rolled out with version 20.064.0329.0008. By the way, the user will only get the Insiders version if you check the box at the bottom of the first tab in the properties. In some companies, however, this is prevented by a group policy. If you think you have problems with the sync engine, you should have … New OneDrive Insider version 20.084.0426.0006 available weiterlesen

Neue OneDrive Insider Version 20.084.0426.0006 verfügbar

Hans Brender

OneDrive | Where are my program files stored?

In the past, the Next Generation Sync Client has always saved its installation in the following directory: C:\Users\[User]\Appdata\local\Microsoft\OneDrive There we not only find the respective program files, but also all country-specific DLLs, the setup, the configuration and the log files. The OneDrive Device ID

Hans Brender

Soon also in your OneDrive. If you have installed the Insiders version of OneDrive, then it is already visible. In the settings under About. And with the GUID it is unique. Clearly on your computer. Definitely for every Office 365 tenant, if you have more than one. And it doesn’t matter whether OneDrive for Business or OneDrive Personal. Each instance has a unique OneDrive device ID. And if you have multiple computers, on each computer. I would have liked to have had this already at the beginning of the OneDrive app development. Because then you could have isolated errors better … The OneDrive Device ID weiterlesen

Die OneDrive-Geräte-ID

Hans Brender

So …
