Microsoft hat eine neue Version des Next Generation Sync Client zur Verfügung gestellt. Das ist die vierte Version des NGSC mit der Versions-Nummer 17.3.6390.0509. Und in den Microsoft Anmerkungen  zum Synchronisierungsclient der nächsten Generation finden wir nur zwei kritische Fehler. Unter Windows 8.1 hat der Synchronisierungsclient fälschlicherweise festgestellt, dass OneDrive Personal deaktiviert ist. Es wurde festgestellt, dass unter bestimmten Fällen, hervorgerufen von Office, der Wo bekomme ich die neue Version? Microsoft has released a new Version of the Next Generation Sync Client. It is the the 4th version of the NGSC with the version 17.3.6390.0509. So the change log only tells us, that there were 2 critical bug fixes: Fixed an issue where OneDrive was incorrectly detecting that Personal Sync had been disabled on Windows 8.1. Fixed an issue that sometimes caused files that were opened by Office to stop syncing. Where Do I get the new Version? Danke Microsoft. Ich weiß, es ist nicht so einfach zu wissen, welcher Synchronisations-Client auf dem jeweiligen PC läuft. Und selbst wenn es der Next Generation Sync Client (NGSC) ist, weiß ich als Benutzer oder Administrator immer noch nicht, ob ich die neuste Version auf meinem Rechner installiert habe.. Ja, meine Blog Post Leserwissen, dass der NGSC ausschließlich als C2R (Click 2 Run) Installation von Microsoft zu. bekommen ist. Microsoft has released on 4/5/2016 an Update for the OneDrive for Business Sync-Client (Groove.exe) KB3114953 Fixes the following issues: If a SharePoint 2016 on-premises OneDrive for Business library is being synchronized, the local folder is created under the SharePoint parent and the right-click menu share action doesn’t work as expected. Microsoft hat am 5.4.2016 ein Update für den OneDrive for Business Sync-Client (Groove.exe) zur Verfügung gestellt. KB3114953 Die deutsche Support-Seite zeigt auch nur englischen Inhalt an. Es handelt sich um ein Update für den SharePoint Server 2016 on-Premise. Wenn dort eine Dokumentenbibliothek synchronisiert wird, wird ein Ordner unterhalb von SharePoint erstellt und Aktionen mit der rechten Maustaste führen nicht zum gewünschten Ergebnis.
