Microsoft has published in the first week of Mai another Update for OneDrive for Business. And the office Updates will be published in the first week of a month:

Fixes the following issues: When you sync a library in OneDrive for Business on a computer that has a high DPI monitor, the text box for you to enter the library URL is not displayed at the correct scale. Updates the fixes for an exception for the OneDrive for Business repair and library disconnect features.

As a subscribed user of my blog you know, that we have to wait a little while for the next Generation Sync client to sync data with SharePoint Team sites and Groups. So if you want to sync to these destinations, you should install this patch.

Be aware that the update in Download Center applies to Microsoft Installer (.msi)-based edition of Office 2013. It doesn’t apply to the Office 2013 Click-to-Run editions such as Microsoft Office 365 Home

To determine whether your Office installation is Click-to-Run or MSI-based, follow these steps:

1. Open an Office 2013 application, such as Microsoft Word 2013.
2. On the File menu, select Account.
3. For Office 2013 Click-to-Run installations, an Update Options item is displayed. For MSI-based installations, the Update Options item isn’t displayed.

You will found the file groove.exe here:  X:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15
So the version of the file should be 15.0.4823.1000 or higher.

If you search for an Update for the Next Generation Sync Client, that’s the wrong place. The  NGSC will automatically updated to the newest version, because it’s a Click 2 Run (C2R)installation, unless the administration will prevent this. The latest Version is 17.3.6386.0412.
