In July 2024, I reported on this in the German M365 News Show. Unfortunately, it still contained errors. I reported these to the Microsoft OneDrive group in Redmond. Then the sharing was withdrawn. And it took quite some time, but now the new sharing with expiration date has been published again: Anyone Nothing has changed here. OneDrive iOS: Shortcuts now visible again

The OneDrive interface has recently been redesigned. Some things are a bit hidden, some things have been forgotten to be displayed. They forgot the shortcuts. Shortcuts to folders looked like normal folders. (left picture). I reported the bug to the Microsoft product group in Redmond and with build 16.0.4 (currently in preview, Apple calls it :Testflight) they are back (right picture). Die Oberfläche von OneDrive hat ja vor kurzem wieder ein neues Design erhalten. Manches ist ein bisschen versteckt, manches wurde vergessen anzuzeigen. Die Shortcuts haben sie nämlich vergessen. OneDrive: neues Teilen mit Ablaufdatum

Im Juli 2024 habe ich in der M365News Sendung darüber berichtet. Leider waren darin noch Fehler enthalten. Diese habe ich der Microsoft OneDrive Gruppe in Redmond mitgeteilt. Dann wurde das Teilen zurückgezogen. Und es hat eine geraume Zeit gedauert, aber jetzt wurde das neue Teilen mit Ablaufdatum wieder veröffentlicht Für Jeden Dabei hat sich nichts verändert. Der Administrator kann für den anonymen Link (kann weitergeleitet werden) eine Zeitvorgabe für den gesamten Tenant vorgeben (max 730 Tage), den der Benutzer nur verkürzen und nicht erweitern kann. The automatic closing of links has always been on the wish list of administrators. Because a closed link, or rather a link that no longer leads to the target, is one less vulnerability. Das sich Links automatisch Schließen, stand schon immer auf der Wunschliste der Administratoren. Denn ein geschlossener Link, oder sagen wir besser, ein Link, der nicht mehr zum Ziel führt, ist eine Angriffslücke weniger. Aber, das hatten wir doch schon? Ja, aber nur beim anonymen „externen“ Link. Wenn es die Administratoren überhaupt zugelassen haben, konnten sie eine zeitliche Beschränkung für das anonyme Teilen vorgeben. Das maximale waren 730 Tage, also 2 Jahre.In Workshops erwähne ich das auch immer, allerdings schlage ich wesentlich kürzere Zeiten vor. Ich selbst habe als Administrator 80 Tage vorgegeben.
