Im Februar 2024 hat Microsoft begonnen mit der kompletten Überarbeiten des Teilens. Man könnte auch sagen mit der 3.Generation oder auch die Zukunft des neuen Teilens. Und nach ein paar Verzögerungen soll es Ende August losgehen. Ein paar Zahlen für euch: Schon 1980 war Microsoft gestartet mit physical sharing, sehr langsam. At Microsoft Ignite 2025, Gaia Carini from the OneDrive product group in Redmond announced that a long-established threshold would be raised. She spoke of 500,000 files to be synchronized. Coming soon:New naming logic for Microsoft OneDrive folder shortcuts. Microsoft will add the name of the user’s website or OneDrive to all new folder shortcuts. Microsoft wird den Namen der Website oder des OneDrive des Benutzers zu allen neuen Ordnerverknüpfungen hinzufügen. In July 2024, I reported on this in the German M365 News Show. Unfortunately, it still contained errors. I reported these to the Microsoft OneDrive group in Redmond. Then the sharing was withdrawn. Dann wurde das Teilen zurückgezogen. Und es hat eine geraume Zeit gedauert, aber jetzt wurde das neue Teilen mit Ablaufdatum wieder veröffentlicht Für Jeden Dabei hat sich nichts verändert. Der Administrator kann für den anonymen Link (kann weitergeleitet werden) eine Zeitvorgabe für den gesamten Tenant vorgeben (max 730 Tage), den der Benutzer nur verkürzen und nicht erweitern kann.
