Microsoft has released a new Version of the Next Generation Sync Client (NGSC) for OneDrive and OneDrive for Business with the Version Number 17.3.6517.0809 and you may download the new Version from the Microsoft Download site. But you should do it only, unless you do not receive it automatically.(All my clients were updated automatically) The Update Automatism is different from the known Update mechanism (Update, WSUS and C2R [Click 2 Run]. Am 05.08.16 habe ich über die Version 17.3.6514.0720 über den Next Generation Sync Client (NGSC) geschrieben und viele Mitteilungen über unterschiedliche sozialen Netzwerke erhalten, dass diese auf Ihrem Rechner nicht automatisch updaten würde. Und von der offiziellen Microsoft OneDrive Download Seite war bis gestern nur die Version 17.3.6390.0509 zum Download angeboten worden. Wie schon an anderer Stelle erwähnt, unterliegt der Update-Mechanismus weder den offiziellen Updates noch der Click 2 Run (C2R) Methoden von Office, sondern hat seine eigenen Update-Methoden. Und gestern wurden bei mir alle Geräte umgestellt. Microsoft macht ernst. Es kann sich nur noch um Tage (Wochen) handeln. Dann wird man mit dem Synchronisations Client der nächsten Generation (Next Generation Sync Client = NGSC) auch Dokumenten-Bibliotheken von Teamseiten und Gruppen synchronisieren können. (Office 365). Bis vor kurzem konnte man von den OneDrive Download Seiten von Microsoft noch den alten Synchronisierungs-Client herunterladen (roter Pfeil) Das hat sich jetzt geändert. Speichervolumen SharePoint Online angehoben

Seit gestern ist es soweit. Ohne große Ankündigung. Aber endlich ist es soweit. Das Speicher-Volumen auf SharePoint-Online wurde angehoben. Auf der Office Roadmap stehen noch die alten Zahlen: Das ist ein gewaltiger Unterschied. Das Grundvolumen wurde von 10 GB auf 1 TB. Zusätzlich muss man noch einige Dinge beachten: So stehen jetzt nicht nur wesentlich mehr Speichervolumen zur Verfügung, und die Diskussionen , ich mach das mit OneDrive for Business, da habe ich doch 1 TB Speichervolumen, werden weniger werden. Derzeit sind wir in einer Übergangsphase. Aktuell haben wir drei verschiedene Synchronisations-Clients. Und je nachdem, was wir auf lokale Geräte synchronisieren wollen, haben den einen, den anderen, oder auch zwei im Einsatz.
