Am 17.4.2014 hat Sean Byrne unter myce einen Artikel veröffentlicht, in der er beweist, dass Microsoft Dokumente beim Synchronisieren vom Client in die Cloud (SharePoint Online ) verändert. Den Nachweis hat er zuerst einmal mittels MD5Summer erbracht. Dann versucht er auf Unterschiede einzugehen. Dann stellt er fest, dass beim Consumer-Produkt OneDrive keine Änderungen vollzogen werden. If you have installed Office 2013 Service Pack 1  and SP1 for SharePoint Server (on Premise) you will have less problems with not allowed characters in filenames. There are only 2 chars left the users need to know. before Service Pack 1: the image on the left side shows the characters, which are not allowed in OneDrive and OneDrive for business. Mit dem Office 2013 Service Pack 1 und der SP1 für SharePoint Server sind auch lästige Probleme wie unzulässige Zeichen im Dateinamen entfallen. Fast , denn nicht alle Zeichen dürfen im Dateinamen verwendet werden. vor Service Pack 1: Die linke Abbildung zeigt die Zeichen, die sowohl in OneDrive als auch in OneDrive for Business nicht verwendet werden dürfen. Während sich über 10000 Besucher in Las Vegas auf der SharePoint Conference 2014 tummeln und an sich in 4 Tagen mit den neuesten Informationen rund um SharePoint versorgen, wird im Hintergrund bei Microsoft fleißig gearbeitet.
