It’s curious. Last Thursday was the time, where Updates to “Groove.exe” should be found in WSUS. But there are not. Perhaps the Microsoft people, responsible for this are on vacation or Microsoft has no capacity on their Servers through the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Etwas kurios ist es schon. Am Dienstag sollte das Update zu Groove.exe eigentlich im WSUS auftauchen. Ist es aber nicht. Vielleicht ist der zuständige Microsoft Mitarbeiter im Urlaub oder aber man hat dem Ansturm auf die Microsoft Server mit dem Windows 10 Anniversary Update Rechnung getragen…. Was auch immer der Grund sein mag, wir wissen es nicht. [Update 16.08.16] Heute ist das Update im WSUS erschienen. Sie bleibt uns erhalten. und wir weiter verbessert. Das ist auch gut so. Denn an der Profi-Version von OneDrive for Business sind noch viele kleine Fehler enthalten, von Verbesserungen ein mal ganz zu Schweigen. Wesentlich stabiler verhält sich da der kleine Bruder Skydrive.exe also OneDrive. Und nachdem jetzt beide Produkt-Teams zusammen arbeiten, denke ich, dass das nicht das letzte Update der Groove.exe und den dazu gehörenden DLL’s sein wird. Pünktlich zum Patch-Day des Monats August wird unter anderem also auch ein Update KB 2883066 ausgeliefert.
