Registry

This is the section where Group Policy settings are listed, along with explanations of what they do and which registry entries they create. And sometimes it just takes a little longer to document them without errors. In December 2022, I publicly documented for the first time how it all fits together.

The Fixing Process

During the MVP Summit this year, I tried once again to bring the issue to Microsoft’s attention at the OneDrive product group’s office. And within a few days, “all” the issues were fixed. At least in the en-us version. That’s where it all started. Now it’s just the localized versions’ turn. That’s more work, but there are only 16 versions left. And the first version is the German one. Namely, de-de. I send my Excel documentation to them.
