Seit Tgen kann man Meldungen in diversen Sozialen Kanälen lesen, dass Kunden bei Speichern von Dateien in OneDrive for Business und SharePoint Online diverse Probleme haben. Ich bin bis gestern damit verschont geblieben, dann hat es mich aber auch erwischt.
Für unseren MVPKaffeeklatsch tauschen Raphael Köllner und ich Dateien aus. Ich habe dazu über “mit mir geteilt” den Ordner auch lokal synchronisieren lassen. Dann kann ich die fertigen Dateien nach dem Schnitt mit Camtasia einfach per Drag&Drop zu Raphael synchronisieren.
Und gestern hatte ich noch andere Probleme und dann einmal ein RESET ausgeführt. Und am Abend kam es dann zur obigen Fehlermeldung, die leider falsch war. Ich lasse mir die Meldungen aus dem Admin Center per Mail zustellen. Und auf der Couch hörte das iPhone überhaupt nicht mehr auf… Hier nur die relevanten OneDrive Messages:

Nun, 2 Stunden sind eine lange Zeit. Und das nur, weil jemand bei Microsoft das Netzwerk gewechselt hat.
Zum Fehler im Bild: Weder ich, noch Raphael haben etwas getan. Der Fehler war einfach verschwunden. Gut es war Nacht. Wenn sowas jedoch tagsüber passiert…
Also, nicht gliech hektisch irgendwelche Aktionen ausführen. Fragen Sie zuerst ihren Kollegen oder den Support… denn die Fehlermeldung könne auch falsch sein.

Root Cause
A code change within the SQL Azure networking infrastructure resulted in unintended impact to the service.

Tuesday, July 14
6:35 PM – Microsoft anomaly detection systems generated an alert indicating a potential issue with SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business.
6:39 PM – We raised a high-priority investigation and began to investigate diagnostic data and SQL connection data to identify the root cause.
7:48 PM – We began preparations to route user requests to alternate infrastructure.
8:27 PM – We began to restart some gateways as they were processing higher than expected requests.
8:37 PM – We restarted the affected gateways and rerouted user requests to mitigate impact. The incident was declared resolved.
