Mit dem Beginn der TechEd North Amerika wurde das Service Pack 1 für Office 2010 und SharePoint 2010 angekündigt: Ende Juni 2011.

Das Service Pack 1 für Office 2010 Und SharePoint 2010 wird in allen Sprachen gleichzeitig verfügbar sein. Zuerst als manueller Download form Microsoft Download Center und 90 Tage danach auch als automatisches Update via WSUS.

Es wird eine Menge Verbesserungen an den Client- und Server Produkten geben und hier werden Sie nach und nach diese Verbesserungen nachlesen können.

• Inserting Charts into Excel Workbooks using Excel Web Application
• Support for searching PPSX files in Search Server
• Visio Fixes scaling issues and arrowhead rendering errors with SVG export
• Proofing Tools improve spelling suggestions in Canadian English, French, Swedish and European Portuguese.
• Outlook Web Application Attachment Preview (with Exchange Online only)
• Office client suites using “Add Remove Programs” Control Panel, building on our work from Office 2007 SP2
