It is already the 2nd Insider version in the new year. This also carries the 22 in the first place, while the productive version and now also the deferred ring (Enterprise) are still from the year 2021 and this version carries the number 21.230.1107.004 and was published by Microsoft at the end of November. Then around Christmas time Microsoft did not release a version, so that spared users from any problems. There were already enough problems will the Office version, because there appeared strange errors. I myself turned off collaboration mode in OneDrive and continued to report the errors. Unfortunately, I can’t get rid of the feeling that a ticket and their processing is a tedious process. Only after 13 days the support was ready to forward the error to the responsible product group.

Since Microsoft no longer lists the Insider versions, I have provided a short list on my blog. A long list can then be found here. From now on I will not only provide the 32 & 64 bit versions of the OneDrive client, but also the ARM64 variant. Since there are now also native Apple M1 versions, it’s getting hard to know which version I can use where and how. Microsoft has explained the „where“ with a page.

If you have installed the Community Bot for OneDrive, you can find the current versions there with the shortcut „SL01“. The same applies to the WebChat version of the Community Bot for OneDrive.

There will still be new features in OneDrive in 2022. However, my wish list for 2022 has a lot to do with quality. Features are no longer available without being discontinued.
