Now is gone. the 5th SharePoint Saturday UK. I arrived Birmingham with the plane from Frankfurt and short after arrival I was sitting in a rental car on the right side. For me it was the first time. You have to look, doing things with the left hand, no problem so far. 29 km to Hinkley. Hometown of Penny Coventry (@pjcov). Hotel ckeck In and later on all speakers have had a speaker dinner. Eating and speaking with other speakers in a foreign language is very exiting, but for me there wasn’t a short night, I left the bar early.

Next day about 250 SharePoint people take place on the keynote from Agnes Molnar, speaking about, no wonder, “Search”. Two hours later I have had my session about OneDrive for Business. Many questions from the attendees, they also have asked to Microsoft people and haven’t got an answer. I think, I will have some more readers about my blog posts and also will have some new followers on Twitter.

the event was exiting, awesome i will have a thank you to Wor Tony (@WorTony), Brett Lonsdale (@Brettlondsdale) and Mark Macrae (@m_macrae) for organization of this event and also the sponsors. On Saturday evening I was told, there is a roundabout at the hotel. Use Bing Search to find out more details about it.

Nun ist er vorbei. Der fünfte SharePoint Saturday UK. Die Anreise mit dem Flieger am Freitag nach Birmningham war kein Problem und schnell saß ich im Leihwagen, das erste Mal auf der rechten Seite. Wie gewohnt, erst mal Spiegel einstellen, und dann sehen, wie die Schaltung funktioniert. OK keine Automatik, H-Schaltung. Einziger Unterschied: Du bedienst die Schaltung mit der linken Hand. Und los. Es sind ja nur 29 km nach Hinckley. Immer schön links halten.Dann doch die falsche Ausfahrt genommen. Und dann musste ich durch ein paar Kreisel fahren. An das Gefühl, links herum im Kreis zu fahren, habe ich erst gewöhnen müssen. Dann aber nochmal links und schon war das Hotel erreicht. Einchecken…, und schon bald ging es zum Speaker-Dinner. Indisches Restaurant. Kann ich jedem nur empfehlen. Essen und reden mit den anderen Sprechern und Sponsoren strengt an. Deshalb keine lange Nacht an der Bar.

Über 250 SharePoint Entusiasten kamen dann am Samstag, Agnes Molan sprach die Keynote über…, natürlich über die Suche, und zwei Stungen später  gab es meine erste Session in UK über OneDrive for Business. Und die Teilnehmer haben Fragen gestellt, Bei denen sie selbst bei Microsoft keine Antwort bekommen haben. Ich denke,ich werde einige neue Leser für meinen Blog oder aber neue Twitter-Follower haben.

Es hat Spass gemacht. Danke an Wor Thony, Brett Lonsdale und Mark Macrae, die Organisatoren und Sponsoren, die diesen SharePoint Saturday ermöglicht haben. Und am Abend hat man mir erklärt, dass im Hotel ein RoundAbout stattfindet. Bingt mal nach Roundabout, wenn ihr wissen wollt, was das ist.
